Mass Effect 2 DLC Details Leak

Moar Mass Effect 2 news. HELL YES!

Anyways, at the mere sight the DLC acronym I feel a sudden need to empty my bowels. Forcefully. Into some random game developer’s face.

Also, what’s with the rumors of this particular DLC being both *free* and *available at game launch*? Is someone having a huge laugh at this or what? What the hell is wrong with, you know, including content in the actual game?

BioShock 2's DLC on disc already?

BioShock 2’s first batch of DLC, the Sinclair Solutions pack, may have been on the game disc all along.

Users on the 2K forum (spotted by VG247) recorded the download size as a teensy 24K on PC and 108K on Xbox 360. That’s what it says on the Xbox Live Marketplace page too.

More DLC idiocy. What the hell.

Mass Effect 2 Alternate Appearance DLC and Release Dates Announced

BioWare has been busy updating their Twitter feed this afternoon with various Mass Effect 2 DLC announcements. The biggest announcement, I suppose, is a new Alternate Appearance Pack coming on March 23rd that will give Garrus, Thane, and Jack new clothing for 160 points (or $2.00). They’ve also revealed that the previously announced Firewalker Pack and Kasumi’s Stolen Memory addons will be released on March 23rd and April 6th, respectively.

I’m sorry but this is just too much. Stop it with these lame “wow a new look for my characters am I playing Sims or Mass Effect?” DLCs already. Please.

This, on the other hand, is much more interesting.

Mass Effect 2 Firewalker Pack DLC Released

Download the Firewalker pack and gain access to 5 new missions featuring the Hammerhead. The Hammerhead is a heavy assault vehicle that hovers over the battlefield at up to 120 kilometers per hour and features a guided missile system ensuring accuracy even during aggressive maneuvering.

Finally, a ME2 DLC that actually has new gameplay functions, yay.
