In a brief statement issued this afternoon, Blizzard Entertainment said it is linking its online gaming platform with the world’s biggest online social platform. Battle.net and Facebook are being “integrated,” Blizzard COO Paul Sams said. The possibilities of that integration are many, but to start, Blizzard said it will be taking a basic first step: StarCraft II players will be able to quickly add Blizzard gamers who are friends on Facebook to their Battle.net friends lists.
